PNT commentary: Though you have dirty pornographers like Billy Watson already in a tizzy tweeting their dirty porn attorney friends like Michael Fattorosi (who once was tied to a 2257 record keeping company) about the alleged Free Speech Coalition “victory” over 2257 record keeping legislation (laws which assist in the prevention of the production of child pornography) – the truth is nothing much has changed.
The reality is the following (via AVN.com)
In short, the only people who can still be held liable under 2257 are primary producers who fail to check performers’ ID documents and/or fail to verify their ages, and the court refused to strike down the criminal penalties for those who do fail to check.
