Catching up with Native American writer, advocate, author & adult industry legend Hyapatia Lee – a strong woman with zero tolerance for racism
January 21, 2019 Off By PNTLIVECommentary submitted by Alex Mayers: Over the years, even prior to embarking on my own path into the realm of adult entertainment, I’ve consistently heard nothing but wonderful things about Hyapatia Lee – a writer, advocate, activist, musician, educator, mother and adult industry legend.
Upon Hyapatia Lee popping up on my twitter feed a bit earlier today I decided to take a look at what she’s been up to over the years, and not too surprisingly you can find her on Twitter via @HyaptiaLee taking bigots and racists to task by squelching false and fraudulent propaganda being perpetuated about the Native American people (which today is of particular importance considering the Native American voter suppression and cultural intimidation issues which, as of current, have taken center stage in mainstream political news).
Hypatia Lee is of Cherokee lineage and is a registered member of the Cherokee Nation. As a registered member of the Southeastern Cherokee Council, Inc., she held the position of Blessed Woman for the Lost River Band where some of her responsibilities included conducting sweat lodges and healing ceremonies, leading singing and drumming circles and teaching the Cherokee language. In addition, she is a frequent pow-wow dancer and has danced in the Sundance ceremony.
Hyapatia Lee has written several well reviewed books which are available on the Amazon website. I personally find the subject matter of her book “Star People, Skin Walkers and Raven Mockers: Aliens and Native Americans” to be of high interest, so I’ll likely be purchasing and downloading it this coming weekend. I have a feeling her book “Overcoming Bullies: The Third Step on the Native Strength Path” will be a read I enjoy in the future as well.

Attention PORNSTARS: I strongly encourage those of you new to the industry acquaint yourselves with the adult performers who came before you – and take the time to research what they are doing TODAY…primarily so that YOU develop a starting point of which to begin to envision where YOU would like YOUR OWN life path to lead… Never forget that visualization is the first step to manifestation. – Alex Mayers
