Alex Mayers commentary: To answer Laila’s question, “Do in porn?” – No, Laila – they don’t. In fact Blacks / African-Americans are treated worse in the American adult entertainment industry than in just about any other industry within the United States. If I had a dollar for every time white male porn industry “professionals” have referred to me PERSONALLY as the n-word (or a “monkey”) on their industry blogs and on social media, I could likely buy you a new car. To this day, Black pornstars are paid substantially less per scene than their counterparts of other ethnicities by the majority of American pornographers.

Yes Laila – porn is racism…but that’s not all it is. Pornography in actuality ENCOURAGES and PROMOTES racism.

The reason active Black and African-American pornstars don’t speak out in regards to this issue more is because due to pornographers such as Greg Lansky – they PROFIT off the racism. Those who take the issue to task traditionally find themselves blacklisted by the industry.

Had I known many years ago the reality of the racist mentality which permeates the majority of American white male pornographers (who coincidentally dominate the American pornographic industry), I never would have bothered entering their world as an adult actress. It actually makes me cringe (to this day) that once upon a time, I actually believed that some of the individuals I encountered within the porn industry (who today I know for a fact are racists) were my friends.

It’s worth mentioning, that the porn industry (and Free Speech Coalition linked) lawyer, who formulated a fraudulent lawsuit against me to silence my speaking out against abuse and criminal activity within the porn industry, consistently has defended Neo Nazi’s and white supremacists over the years.
