Alexandra Mayers commentary: Boy oh boy do quite a few of Vera King’s peers seem to be jealous of her success as a popular creator (content producer) on the OnlyFans network. Well, guess what folks (especially you Jessica Starling)? It takes a lot more than just being a brunette with bangs to rise to the top of the “independent content producer world”… It takes having a high level of intelligence, a likable personality, an outstanding work ethic, an interesting backstory and a MEMORABLE (and MARKETABLE) look.

Many may not realize it, but I was an independent cammodel and content producer pioneer back in the day (starting in the EARLY 2000s) prior to my transitioning into “mainstream pornography”.

Back when I was an active performer, I learned early on that it was my ability to showcase my INTELLECT and PERSONALITY to my audience that (in the long term) created high dollar sales and led to fan base retention. I observed that the majority of men grew bored quite quickly of someone with little more than a pretty face who simply jiggled her tits.

Since adult actress Vera King has crossed my radar (due to an incident she COURAGEOUSLY spoke publicly about), I’ve truly enjoyed watching her progress. I anticipate that by 2022 she’ll have reached the same level of popularity as adult megastar Sasha Gray.

What initially struck me about Vera King is how marketable and memorable her LOOK is. She’s not your cookie cutter run of the mill, nondescript “pretty girl”. She embodies the golden formula of being attractive with CHARACTER and a certain level of quirkiness – balanced out with undeniable grace and class. Vera’s look (in conjunction with her flare for 80’s era styling) makes her UNFORGETTABLE.

Vera is an “IT GIRL” – and she’s APPROACHABLE. I feel as though she stepped right out of a 1980’s movie featuring Molly Ringwald or Wynona Ryder.

Vera also has an AMAZINGLY interesting BACKSTORY (considering what happened to her upon her initial entrance into the adult industry). Her history is an authentic account of the human spirit triumphing over the WORST of circumstances – and is a testament to her character… You just can’t help but root for Vera to reach the ultimate levels of success since (not too long ago) she endured such a HORRIFIC experience.

So to quickly conclude – while I generally don’t positively promote adult content (and I definitely don’t recommend a career in the adult entertainment industry to much of anyone) – for Vera King I will make an exception (today at least).
