*Update – It turns out the individuals behind the lawsuit (according to MikeSouth.com) are Raquel Petersen and Adam Frank. Their lawyer is Allan Gelbard (the same attorney who assisted a multitude of adult actresses in filing complaints against Derek Hay, LA Direct Models and The Luxury Companion).
Maitland Ward sued for $270K by porn peers
Maitland Ward’s transition to the porn industry isn’t going as swimmingly as she’d like you to think.
The actress, who made the jump last year — shocking and/or titillating fans of “Boy Meets World,” the iconic sitcom on which she originally broke through — is being sued by some former co-workers to the tune of $270,000.
TMZ obtained the court filing, in which an actress and videographer/editor photographer claim they started working with Ward in July 2017. Ward and the unnamed actress hit it off so well that they allegedly started hooking up off the clock.
Unfortunately, as nothing gold can stay, the partnership fell apart, and the pair claim Ward made off with cash from a deal the group struck in happier times, which she held onto wth “bad checks and broken promises,” as TMZ puts it. They’re seeking their share of the alleged deal and damages.
