What began in 2008 as the journey of a young woman with aspirations to become a “pornstar” has morphed into a historical archive, educational resource and news commentary project designed to release a consistent stream of thought pertaining to the adult entertainment realm. Porn News Today has been heralded as one of the most interesting and frequented editorial, investigative, commentary and activism websites about the adult entertainment industry.
It’s important to note that our founder Alexandra Mayers (fka Monica Foster) took several public and personal “hits” in the name of Free Speech to keep Porn News Today afloat. The Porn News Today team as a collective sincerely thanks her for her tireless efforts.
Though this website is ABOUT the adult entertainment industry – it is not designed to be a resource FOR the adult entertainment industry (especially not the American pornography industry). Prominent adult entertainment industry figures have made it clear to Alexandra Mayers that she is not a member of their community – and she has gladly cut all contact with members of the adult entertainment industry. Any input from individuals who are a part of the adult entertainment community is not welcome in Alexandra Mayers’ life, on Porn News Today or Porn News Today affiliated social media.
After a nearly 2 year hiatus Porn News Today has relaunched – July 29th 2018. In addition, the 2011 to 2017 Porn News Today archive is open and available to the public.
